
The International Society of Micropiles (ISM) announces that Freddy Lopez, M.Sc.-Ing., of Tiroler Rohre in Germany, has joined the ISM Steering Committee.
Lopez is a 43-year-old Bolivian geotechnical engineer. He discovered his passion for micropiles in 2012, and has been a micropile enthusiast ever since. He has been a “proud member” of ISM since 2017.
“I love my job, which involves the design, execution and testing of micropiles,” says Lopez. “Thanks to it, I have had the chance to participate in different projects around the world. My motivation comes from my family and the dream to make a better world with micropiles.”
ISM’s Steering Committee is responsible for defining the strategic direction of ISM.
