The Call for Abstracts is now open for the International Society for Micropiles (ISM) 16th International Workshop on Micropiles on September 24-26, 2025, in Valencia, Spain. The theme of the workshop is The Art and Science of Micropiles.

To participate, submit an abstract (300 words) by Tuesday, December 31, 2024, summarizing your proposed presentation content to https://tinyurl.com/ISM2025-CFA.

Full Papers are encouraged but not required for this 16th workshop. The Program Committee will select speakers to make in-person presentations at the workshop. Presentations will be made in plenary sessions and followed by in-depth discussion.

Abstracts are solicited on the following micropile topics:

European Green Deal:

• Urban Construction and Rehabilitation
• Sustainability, Durability and Resiliency
• Historic Renovation
• Energy Piles

State of the Practice:

• International Practice
• Innovations and Applications
• Codes and Guidance Specifications
• Case Histories and Lessons Learned
• Design Challenges, Seismic Design and Numerical Analysis
• New Micropile Research

The workshop includes lectures, discussions, panel sessions on all aspects of micropile technology, and social events. The workshop also features 12th Lizzi Lecture, the 10th Lizzi Scholarship and the 5th World Cup of Micropiles.
