Proceedings Available at No Cost from the ISM 15th International Workshop on Micropiles

The proceedings from the International Society for Micropiles (ISM) 15th International Workshop on Micropiles held last May in Colorado are now available at no cost.

The proceedings include all the workshop presentations — 34 PowerPoint presentations by micropile experts from around the world. You can download the presentations at www.ismicropiles.org/proceedings.

Presentations represent a wide range of topics related to micropiles: innovations, state of practice and research, seismic design, numerical analysis, codes and guidance specifications, durability and design life, micropile/structure connection details, load testing, equipment and material evolutions, construction challenges, difficult ground (groundwater/karst), case histories and lessons learned, landslide prevention/slope stabilization, historic renovation, and energy piles.

“The knowledge, research and lessons learned shared in these presentations are a great example of ISM’s mission to be an international, preeminent center of knowledge for the development, advancement and promotion of micropile technology,” says Mary Ellen Large, ISM executive director.
